| Job Description |
Nationality: Afghan
Nai Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan is an Afghan media development NGO based in Kabul. Nai was launched in June 2004 and is registered and recognized by the Ministry of Economics of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Nai is also a full member of Internews International (www.internews.tv), an association uniting thirty-one autonomous non-profit organizations working for the development of independent, pluralistic and open media worldwide.
Duties & Responsibilities: 1.Coordinate youth media activities, under the supervision of the International Youth Advisor and Nai Executive Director, and in coordination with other Nai and Internews staff.
2.Work with partner radio stations and other media to improve or expand youth programming
3.Supporting the International Youth Advisor to manage a youth media festival which will be held next year.
4.Be part of the Youth team (consisting of national and international trainers) which will prepare the training manual.
5.Making contacts and building relationships with youth associations in Kabul and provinces
6.Travel to the provinces and to the two Nai regional hubs to work with hub staff to coordinate outreach to and training workshops for youth in provincial areas,
7.Provide biweekly and monthly report on project progress
8.Monitor and evaluate the activities under the youth media project

| Qualifications |
1.Relevant university degree preferred
2.Minimum 3 years experience of working as coordinator/trainer with NGOs in relevant issue, preferably on Journalism.
3.Experience and skill on project management.
4.Understanding and writing skill in Dari, Pashto and English languages.
5.Computer skills (word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet)
6.Strong communication, planning, organizing and team working skill
7.Good management and supervision skill.
8.Knowledge and experience in providing presentations and written reports.
9.Media production experiences an advantage.
Personal skills and attributes 1.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Be culturally sensitive and possess good interpersonal skills.
2. Being self starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
3.Being able to deal with people at all levels with tact and diplomacy.
