| Job Description |
Nationality: Afghan
Architectural and Engineering Company (AEC) is one of leading Engineering consultancy company providing Architectural, Engineering documentation for various clients. The Company is established on June 2005 and executed many consultancy services to different clients, government, national and international organizations in different parts of Afghanistan.
Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Directs all Administrative matters through the Assistant Admin/HR Manager (receipt of documents, reports etc);
2. Identifies and coordinates all Administrative requirements in support of AEC’s operations, in conjunction with the Assistant Admin/HR Manager;
3. Carries out Admin-related operational/control tasks including correspondence to Government and other agencies as required;
4. Prepares recurring reports as scheduled and special reports as required for budget preparation, audits and similar reasons;
5. Advises and assists employees in the area of office management.
6. Arranges for and/or attends meetings on day-to-day administrative matters, participates in discussions of new or revised procedures and practices, interprets and assesses the impact of changes and makes recommendations for follow-up action;
7. Prepares, on own initiative, correspondence, reports, evaluations and justifications, as required, on general administrative or specialized tasks which may be of a confidential nature within the assigned area of responsibility;
8. Provides interpretation of administrative rules, regulations and procedures;
9. Attends calls and in consultation with Assistant Admin/HR Manager makes appointments with Government authorities, UN agencies, NGOs etc.
10. Conducts field missions, as required throughout Afghanistan in support of the AEC program;
11. Maintains office records and reference files on relevant subjects.
12. Drafts correspondence on routine matters.
13. Meet regularly with the relevant ministries and follow up on ministry reporting requirements.
14. Accurate translation from English to Dari of program related documents required for ministry reporting.
15. Coordinates with the finance departments on issues related to ministry reporting requirements.
16. Share information/data as requested from other departments.
17. Performs other duties as required.

| Qualifications |
Qualifications required: Job Requirements/Experience Required 1. At least three years experience in Administration with reputable organization 2. Strong spoken, written, and expressive English language skills 3. Strong spoken, written and expressive Dari language skills as required for liaison work with the various ministerial departments. 4. Strong IT skills. 5. Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required. 6. Responsible, reliable and punctual. 7. Ability to multi-task. 8. Representation skills.
Educational Requirements University education, in Business Administration or related field preferred.
Additional Qualities a Successful Candidate Should Possess: 1. Ability to handle pressure well 2. Training in archiving, filing back office procedures. 3. Desire to build skills in this profession. 4. Ability to improvise and take initiative 5. Flexibility to adapt to an emergency environment as needed. 6. Must be a team-player. 7. Strong communication skills. 8. Willingness to commit to the AEC Code of Conduct. |
