| Job Description |
Nationality: Afghan
International Medical Corps (IMC) is a global humanitarian nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief programs. IMC is carrying out medical relief services in several provinces of Afghanistan.
Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Assist Chief of Party in administrative/operational activities including clerical support. 2. Assist with Payroll processing of IMC Project Staff. 3. Maintain all project records in a neat, orderly manner. 4. Prepare daily/monthly/quarterly administrative reports as needed. 5. Provide liaison with Hospital Staff and the community at large. 6. Oversee/manage office staff. 7. Oversight of Stock/supply process at WAKH including receipt of stock, database management, distribution of stock, and tracking to insure legal/ethical procedures are maintained. 8. Provide management/Administrative support for the program and keep close contact with Human Resources and Operations Departments of IMC Kabul Main office. 9. Participate in and take minutes during meetings conducted by the program. 10. Prepare and make copies of trainers’ handouts and other teaching materials on a daily basis. 11. Following up of the attendance report of IMC national staff of WAKH staff. 12. Coordinating with logistic to order and stock office supplies needed by WAKH staff. 13. Provide supervision and appropriate support to IMC guest house assistant, cook and cleaner at WAKH guest house. 14. Maintain a good filing system in the office. 15. Other official job assignments required by Supervisor.
Position Objectives Overall responsibility for the efficient and effective operation of all office/administrative functions for the IMC WAKH SP Project. Perform administrative duties utilizing specific knowledge of Hospital and IMC procedures. Compile process and maintain all Project documents, correspondence, records. Plan, direct or coordinate supportive services of the Project. |

| Qualifications |
Education and Experience 1. Graduate from university and degree highly preferred. 2. At least 2-3 years related training and/or experience within an NGO or UN organization 3. At least 1 year experience in Stockroom management including: database management, receiving stock, tracking stock, distribution of stock highly preferred.
Language Skills 1. Good communication skills, both oral and written in Dari/Pashto/English required 2. Ability to respond to inquiries, present information, etc. from/to Project management
Computer Skills MS Office Packages - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Other Ability 1. Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required by supervisor or program or any other tasks which need to be completed. 2. Ability to travel to other IMC offices according to job dictates. 3. Must be honest, well-mannered, and professional at all time 4. Must be polite and cooperative with office colleagues and/or other IMC staff. |
