| Job Description |
Nationality: Afghan
USAID/LTERA is looking for qualified Afghan candidates for the post of senior Translator with attractive salary and other benefits based on qualification and experience.
Duties & Responsibilities: The Senior Translator works under the supervision of the Translation Manager. He/she is responsible for the following tasks:
1. Written translation of documents, as requested by the Translations Manager, from English into Dari and vice versa;
2. Oral translations into English or Dari, during LTERA meetings internally or with counterparts;
3. Proof reading and finalizing translated documents;
4. Contributing to organize and maintain a database of translations, including a glossary. |

| Qualifications |
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree from a renowned Law School with a specialization in land law.
Other Skills: 1. Fluency in English and Dari;
2. Ability to translate into English and Dari;
3. Ability to translate orally during meetings;
4. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office;
5. Ability to work in a team;
6. Ability to deliver his work professionally and within the time allocated by the Translation Manager;
7. Good typing speed. |
