| Job Description |
Nationality: Afghan
PIN (People In Need) is a Czech NGO providing humanitarian and development assistance in crisis regions. PIN mission in Afghanistan opened in December 2001 and has focused mainly on education, reintegration of returnees, water and sanitation and rural development. Currently, PIN has fifteen program offices in Balkh, Baghlan, Takhar, Paktia, Nangarhar provinces and 2 central offices in Kabul and Mazar-e-Sharif.
Duties & Responsibilities: The Income Generation Field Coordinator in close cooperation with Field Assistants and under supervision of Project Manager and Training Specialist shall be responsible for coordination of field activities within the European Commission funded project Income Stability in Northern Afghanistan - Balkh Province (ISNA). This project aims at increasing the income potential of the rural population through training, experience sharing and joint-business strategies.
Main responsibilities are to: 1. coordinate all project activities in the district.
2. have creative and result-oriented approach.
3. develop sound and positive working relationship with target communities, district governor and project partners.
4. ensure that the program is implemented in a way that empowers and develop capacity of the communities thus contributing to sustainability of project interventions.
5. ensure project deadlines and high quality standards are met.
6. regularly report to Project Manager and Training Specialist.
7. ensure gathering of PR data from the field (photos, interviews, stories, etc.) |

| Qualifications |
A fitting candidate for the position of Income Generation Field Coordinator position should have: 1. at least 3 years of management experience.
2. proven record of experience in income-generation and livelihood projects.
3. at least 3 years experience with community work (introductory meetings with communities, explaining objectives, preparation and organization of trainings, etc.)
4. willingness to learn.
5. teamwork abilities.
6. good knowledge of Uzbek / Turkmen preferred.
7. knowledge of English preferred.
