| Job Description |
The QED Group is seeking two regional coordinators to provide technical oversight to field auditing teams working in municipalities in Southern Afghanistan. The regional coordinators will be responsible for collecting and aggregating field data from the field auditors and reporting it to the Deputy Director. The coordinators will also continuously monitor program activities and the progress of field teams, ensuring that data is delivered on time and reporting any issues to the Director and Deputy Director. Each will organize, coordinate, and stay in contact with the field teams. The Regional Coordinators will report to the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) Deputy Director and will work closely with the survey specialist and training specialist.
DETAILED RESPONSIBLITIES
• Each regional coordinator will oversee, organize, and stay in contact with six teams of two (12 total people) field auditors
• Assist in recruitment of field auditing teams
• Coordinate with survey and training specialist on data collection procedures and requirements.
• Ensure that field teams adequately implement data collection methodologies and submit data in a timely manner.
• Submit aggregate field data to Deputy Director
• Report data collection issues to the Deputy Director and work with field teams to address those issues.

| Qualifications |
• Minimum 2 years experience in social science research, M&E, statistics, survey and focus group implementation, and/or international development.
• 2 experience with managing field staff.
• Secondary degree required, university degree preferred. Equivalent years of experience acceptable in lieu of university degree.
• Experience with USAID-funded projects.
• Excellent English languages skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Access to local sources of information and informal social networks a plus.
