Job Description Nationality: Afghan

Organization of Human Resource Development (OHRD) started its activities in 1995 as the Capacity Building Department of CHA. OHRD has been recently registered as an autonomous organization with registration number (1229) with NGOs Department of Ministry of Economy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. OHRD is currently operating in Afghanistan through its three departments including:
1) Capacity Building Department
2) Higher Education Department
3) Disaster Management Department


Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coach the three OHRD’s departments.

2. Project development based on the mandate of the organization and need of the field

3. Organize different projects(developing work plan, operation plan).

4. Development of Monitoring and evaluation tools for different projects and conduct regular monitoring and reporting for OHRD related projects.

5. Managing and leading the report preparation and editing on regular basis

6. Lead Coordination between different agencies and donors.

7. Foster a positive and productive professional work environment.

8. Attend and participate in trainings identified/organized by OHRD or other organizations

9. Provide timely, monthly, quarterly and annual reports

10. Coordinate with government, NGOs and other stakeholders develop and maintain those relationships.
Qualifications 1. University degree.

2. Excellent management skills.

3. Experience in managing of projects.

4. Good planning skills.

5. Excellent communication skills.

6. Project development skills and experience.

7. Good proposal writing skills.

8. Good in developing project implementation procedures.

9. Experience working with communities, specifically in engaging communities in identifying issues and working with them to develop program.

10. Fluency in English, Dari / Pashto.

11. Competent in the use of key computer software programs.

12. Minimum 5 years experience in project development and implementation.

13. Ability to travel to provinces, districts and targeted villages.
